Theme: Regret

I woke up late into the night with the noise of a bang again my window , why did i move here?! There it is again. I slide out of bed and transport myself to the other side of the room which is farthest away from the banging noise. I push myself up against the wall the brick cold against my bare back. Beyond the window I can see the city lights they all go out once, what is happening?  I start to get filtering feelings in my stomach like a butterfly that’s just emerged from its cocoon. Another sounds ricochet around my apartment. I crawl across to the window . “I need to do something, I need to find out what is making this noise”.  I wish I could go back and fix what i have done.
